I ordered the singer futura sewing embroidery machine from HSN week. It sews beautifully!! When I try to embroidery the bobbin thread is comming up into the stitches. Some of the stitching is all bobbin thread. I have adjusted the top tension to every setting and it hasn't helped. I am using bobbin fill thread for the bobbin. HELP!!!

Pull the section off that just shows the arm and you will find a switch - it shows the teeth that push the fabric eith up or down - make sure they are down. Also on the wheel, I believe it is tension wheel there is an "E", make sure it is set on there. It sunds like you have the a newer version of my machine but I am not sure. i hope this helps.

Yes "S" on tension is "SEW" you need to set it to "E" for embroidery!

You may also want to only wind your bobbin about 2/3 full. I don't have the same machine but I've found I usually have trouble with the bobbin thread if the bobbin is full.

HERE is a link to Stitchers Guild forum. This is the home page. Scroll down and you will see threads for all things machine embroidery. It is a very lively forum. Spend some time browsing through the topics and you will get alot of good useful info. There are also Yahoo groups dedicated to machine embroidery too.

Enjoy your machine! I have the original Brother PE150 and it is still going strong. I'm also still using a very old version of EMBIRD (which is a design editing program) and Magic Box ( so old it is still hooked up to a serial port!!! ).

Also, (and you probably know this already) you can downloads THOUSANDS of free embroidery designs from the internet. I put mine on a cd and ended up with about 6000 (plus or minus). And they were all free.
