Howdy, I am a woodworker but my wife does a lot a scrapbooking. She recently got a cricut expression 2. Now I'm wondering what all this thing can do. Do we have the ability to print our own designs? For example I make a lot of full size paper templates for chair legs, tables, etc. If I could print these out directly to the cricut that would be super duper awesome! I could see design possibilities expand exponentially! Thanks in advance!

That link will take you to learn about the machine..Cricut machines are cartridge based so you need a cartridge with images to cut from.

Go on You-Tube and watch the wide variety of videos featuring Cricut's machines. There are many about the E2 and you will get a great idea about what this machine can and can not do.

Short answer, no it won't pick up images from computer programs and cut.

It will pick up images from cartridges and Cricut Craft Room and cut. With a bit of time you can come up with custom designs through Cricut Craft Room that can be cut out, it will simply mean manipulating images to match your design.
