I just purchased my Cricut machine and I *Love* it! I’ve been youtubing, and reading a lot of blogs but I can’t seem to figure out how I could cut an image and print on that cut image. Do I print it first with my printer and then cut with the Cricut? How would I figure out where to cut?

This is an image I found on Maryhadalittleparty…
I have no clue how to do something like this.

If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it!

I find it easier to print and then cut using CCR or DS. I did many print and cut projects for my niece's wedding {you can see them on my blog on the Wedding Projects page}.

Many people use the hinge method {CleverSomeday has a youtube video showing that method}.

Other people cut their image, then print on regular paper and place the cutouts over the printed design using removable adhesive and run that sheet back through their printer thus printing on top of the cutouts.

If you're only doing a few and your Cricut model has the Center Point Feature, you could use that to print and then cut.
