Flapper Huh " I put my Christmas lights up outside. They all worked when I put them up.
I go to finish decorating the outside and try the lights. They all don't work.
So frustrating!! I hope the light fairy comes and fixes it. LOL
I don't light them until after Thanksgiving. This was just a test run.
Isn't it always way of things that something has to go wrong. Huh Flapper

Sometimes it's just a short in the cord. Try moving that around in different areas of the string. That really is so annoying when that happens!!

We have that happen all the time and I also hate when the middle strand or strands on the Christmas tree go out. It is a bummer to undo the tree decorations and start all over. Now I know why people buy artificial trees that are prelight!!!

I hated when this happened to me years ago. I started plugging in my lights and leave them plugged in while hanging.

As for the lights going out in the middle of the tree...I usually wrap each strand of lights from top to bottom spreading them out nicely so just incase a strand does go out, it won't be that noticable. Of course that won't help the pre-lit tree lights problem. But ya can always add extra lights to them.
