What brand of stamps does everyone like for making cards/tags. either images or sentiments? Most of mine are just the dollar bin ones but want to branch out, and I was curious what whats everyone else likes?

I'm a great stampin' up fan, and I love the Our Daily Bread stamps and the Just Rite stamps. They have coordinating spellbinder dies, too.

At one time I had over 10,000 wood mounted stamps, majority was CTMH aka DOTS. I sold everyone of them, 5 years ago, because I was done with stamps.

I began purchasing the clear cling or polymer stamps about 2 years ago and I like the following Stamp Companies:

CTMH- Close to My Heart
Hero Arts
HOTP - Hot off The Press
Penny Black
Fiskars
Tim Holtz

Calmom that's a lot of wood mounted stamps. How did you ever store that many??? Also with the Penny Black I've read a lot of mixed reviews on this brand, most of the bad ones are that its impossible to get a clean image. Do you find you need you need a certain type of ink with them?

I love the Cardz TV stamps that Mary sells(if you have Teddy Bear Parade she has the sweetest stamps to go with that cart), Anna G has some good ones, and CTMH.

I sold all of my stamps to one person who was opening up a Stamp and Workshop Store. There was at least 50% of stamps that were brand new and never removed from the casing.

I had a custom designed Stamp Cabinet made and I also used a 12 ft x 5 ft closet with shelves. I use my Stamp Cabinet for supplies now and had no problem filling up the closet space either Laugh LOL

I have never had a problem with Penny Black stamps but I do use a stamping pad, which gives a very crisp image.
