What: Alter a bottle - there is some fabulous inspiration on pinterest, youtube, etc.

Due: Mail no later than July 1st.

Newcomers are always welcome.

Check out my rules thread if you have not done so.

Reminder - you do need to have a Master Questionnaire filled out; please post the coordinates under your avatar.

***Something to keep in mind when you pick your bottle to alter, you may want to keep shipping in mind. I saw some cool ones at the thrift store but they were over 12" so it may be hard to find a box. Thrift stores, garage sales, even your own recycling is an inexpensive way to find a cheap bottle.

This will be fun.

Kel

Questions:

1. Theme/Style?
2. Color preferences want/don't want?
3. Anything special you want your partner to know....

For theme or style you can branch out of the ordinary and pick a holiday theme if you would like it as a decoration.....I have seen quite a few Halloween inspired ones. This is just as suggestion and you could put down what every you would like.

This should be another fast and easy swap.BigGrin

Oh lord help me, I am going to sign up again, because it is a Kelley swap, and I have said I would stop after July, and this swap is in July. . .it's not like it's in August, it will be quick and easy. . .and it is over a month away, so I have plenty of time. . . AMEN

Asian, red, purple, teal, orange, with black and gold accents or Designer's Choice.

I am so easily pleased, so just want my partner to relax and enjoy the process.

I am so glad we are not altering socks with holes in them, but then again, I might have found the will power to resist, had this been the case. Laugh

I'll play BigGrin

So we may use any bottle - Glass, plastic, aluminum, etc?

1. Theme/Style? Grunge, Steampunk, Vintage, Mixed media/Artsy
2. Color preferences want/don't want? Grungy purple is my favorite but use whatever works with the theme/style you choose.
3. Anything special you want your partner to know....

I prefer it not to be a seasonal/holiday bottle. I like something that can be displayed all year round.

1. Theme/Style? Steampunk, NYC themed, Art Deco, or Paris themed
2. Color preferences want/don't want? No Pastels, no neon, and if you use pinks PLEASE no bright or hot pink. Pastel pinks would be ok if you go with a Paris theme. I like dark colors, and I love metallic.
3. Anything special you want your partner to know... Keeping in mind what I asked I will the let the creator do whatever they please :) I will say I ADORE Broadway so if you go for an NYC theme I think that would be awesome. Put me down... sounds like fun. I'm really going places I have not gone before, I'm loving it!!

1. Theme/Style? Halloween

2. Color preferences want/don't want? Black and Red of course you can add a little more color here and there, as along as it blends in.

3. Anything special you want your partner to know....
I throw a major Halloween Party every year, so this would be great for decorating, the creepier the better.

Why? Why, Kelley, why do you come up with the most irresistible projects?

I am in! Wink

1. Theme/Style? Anything is fine - just not super girly. Cutesy ok if geared towards boys... Almost all male household here!Cool

2. Color preferences want/don't want? Pink is ok but I would rather it be an accent than main color. Not crazy about super bright colors like neons.

3. Anything special you want your partner to know... Have fun and be creative :)
