This is EXACTLY why we need our Gypsys, we CANNOT rely on CCR or PC to keep our information or CCR linked Cartridges right. I have NEVER seen a company with so many Programming problems. I would STRONGLY suggest PC hire a Capable IT Team, if they expect to have everyone use the CCR.

I am so sorry and I wish I could help. I would be sitting on PC until they get it straight or THEY Link every Cartridge and Digital Download to your CCR Account, that you had. The burden of PROOF is on PC, they screwed up, AGAIN.



After this I want CCR and my cartridge data stored on my computer. So I can get it backed up to hard drive.

Here I sit with the Cricut Mini and I can't use it with CCR.
I do have the gypsy that works with the Mini. But, I prefer working on a larger screen.

If a hardware failure caused this then it wouldn't be IT's fault.

If they don't have this info backed up then that is just pure unresponsible of them.

There would be no excuse for this at all.

This is unbelievable! I would be taking legal action against them. I hope you are back up and running, because anything over 6 hours (for recovery of files) would be TOTALLY unacceptable.

Who do they have working for them?

I have to say - and it will probably be gone shortly - I cut some files for graduation this year with my "new other" machine that I cut last year with my E. I was cutting vinyl. They cut so much cleaner and better it was no comparison. And I had the files on MY computer with no need to be online to do it.

And this is why I like my physical carts. I have two digi carts because of the credit. After your posting and others with similar problems...that's it for me as far as digi goes. Still love my machines with my physical carts.

I couldn't agree more! I like to actually have something in my hand. I'm hoping they get this straightened out soon so I can log in to the Circle board as well. Tell everyone hi for me.

Oh man, how frustrating. I would be furious. After reading your post, I went and printed out a copy of my linked carts list. I printed it to PDF. My MSIE 8 brower wouldn't print it properly, so I had to use Firefox.

Hope you get everything back soon.

That has happen to me so. I can't get any answers. they should have a back up. I can't get any answers. I am thinking about contacting my lawyer. everything is gone.

We have PDFCreator on our computers at work (at home I use CutePDF). It shows up as a printer and creates a PDF file instead of printing. To view your linked carts list, just access your account info by clicking on your name at the top of the page, then click on the "linked cartridges" option on the left. That brings up a list of all the carts you have linked to your account, including carts linked directly to CCR, purchases from Cricut.com and I'm guessing directly from CCR, too, any carts uplinked from your Gypsy and all the free carts PC lets us try out. The 5 promo carts we got for registering our Gypsy weren't there, at first. I had to call PC and they added those manually. I sorted the list by type, before I printed it (just click on the orange "type" column heading). That makes it easier to tell whether your carts were digital purchases, promos, gypsy uplinks or whatever.

I called PC today and they said someone from IT will be getting a hold of me in 72 hours.

They would not tell me what is wrong. I would like some answers.

I asked to speak to a tech person today.

They said they would call me sometimes this week. WTH?Cursing

I want to get this fixed or get my information to a new account.

This is just ridiculous.

Those who mentioned this happened to you. How long did you have to wait before you got help?

Good luck with that. I don't have the same issue as you (thankfully, I just checked it out). CS told me over 2 weeks ago they would call the next day. Ummmm . . . .STILL waiting for IT to call. Because of your fiasco, though, I did print my linked carts out of the "my account" tab. I really hope they come through for you and get your stuff back!
