I numbered all of mine with a round green sticker in the upper right corner. I then embossed a copy of each one and have them in a 4x6 photo album that will hold over 200. I have around 150 folders. anyway, we do tend to not remember every one we have so being able to look through the album and decide what I want to use is daily inspiration to me. Great way to come up with background ideas as well. sure works for me and I add new folders to the system as I purchase them.

I store mine, by theme, in these Itso Small Bins (that's their name to me they are not small. lol) I got at Target. I think they are $5.99.
Here is a picture I posted on my blog to share my 4x6 and 5x7 folder storage.
I haven't put all of my Cricut.com sale ones in yet because I'm still labeling them with the folder name. I'm sure glad PC has started putting the names on the new ones. I got 35 CB sets and most of those are 4 folder sets. Almost all of the sale ones needed to be labeled. lol.

D~

I'll add a link for anyone who is interested in checking out my little old crafting space.

I have about 150 embossing folders and had to find a way that worked for me to organize and store them. I have them in a drawer wide enough for 2 rows with a divider down the middle. I divided my folders as best I could into categories, flowers, Christmas, phrases, etc....I made a sample of each folder and glued them into a 3-ring binder with index dividers, and index dividers in the drawer. I used colored stickers for recognition, one sticker on the folder, one on each index divider.

Now when I want to emboss I go to the sample binder first, choose the look I want, check the color on the index divider then go to that color in the drawer. When done I know where it goes because that color sticker is also on the folder.

It works great, but it's not quite big enough for the Sizzix embossing folders (drat!). So, I'm going to order the 5x7 storage case from Consumer Crafts, along with some 5x7 folders (they have great prices). That should do me for a while.
