I made a bunch of these for my ladies luncheon group. They LOVED them! I made a couple more for friend's Birthdays. This cartridge is the best ever!

Did you have to use the scoring blade to make these? Also, about how long does it take to make one? I'm going to a church luncheon in May and thought I might "volunteer" to make one for each place setting. (Only about 20 women attend.)
TIA

I did not use the scoring blade. I actually had bought one, but decided it was too much trouble to switch it out with each cut...So I used the advice of others on this board and set my pressure to low and my blade to 2...and it was perfect. My paper was nice and thick so you can adjust accordingly.

I cut 20 cups. I worked on them a couple of hours over 2 weekends. After playing with the adjustments, etc, it took about an hour to actually cut the cups and about 2 hours to assemble and decorate them. They go together rather quickly. I used the Scotch quick-drying glue and they stayed together nicely. I used some clothespins to hold them together after gluing so I could move on to the next one...worked great for timing!

I also cut doilies and tags...on another day. This is a project that really doesn't take that long, but lots to do, so I could only work on it a little at a time without tiring. Cutting everything out first was good...then I could assemble and decorate as I had the time....while watching TV, etc.

I got my paper here...
http://www.amazon.com/dp...0_21431760_M3T1_ST1_dp_1

It was WONDERFUL paper and the perfect thickness. Cut beautifully!
I cut it at 9.5 inches and it was a great size for a table favor. Blade@6...and pressure at Max. Speed on Med.
Doily...I cut a cream cardstock from Paper Lace-Flower 6 at 3 1/4 inches Real size. I then embossed it with my Cuttlebug to make it look like lace.

I filled my cups with foil-wrapped local chocolates wrapped in tulle circles.

I found this video extremely helpful before you start..
http://www.youtube.com/w...p;v=h7tCAkbCyd4&NR=1

Good luck. You will enjoy the ooohs and aahhs...!
Just got an email back from one of my ladies telling me she has placed her teacup in her china cabinet...now that is a nice honor!BigGrin
