I have a Gypsy and use it mainly at away crops. I love the CCR at home and use it most of the time.

Yes I have a gypsy and rarely ever use it. The screen is too small for me. But the crazy part...
I even have a brand new never opened gypsy that I bought as a back up - just in case.

I am curious who owns, has owned and uses their Gypsy.

Please respond:

Yes, I own a Gypsy and use it
Yes, I own a Gypsy but don't use it
No, I don't own a Gypsy

Thank you, I really want to see how many are currently using their Gypsy.

Yes I own a Gypsy use it on occasion, and now that the linking to CCR is done I will probably use it less.

YES! I have a gypsy and use it all the time. Very disappointed that they will be discontinuing it. It was the perfect portable device to take to crops, can't imagine lugging my laptop or all of my cartridges to a crop. Already take my baby bug and on rare occasions my expression, taking a laptop would be an overload of stuff.

Was planning to update my gypsy but now I need to re think, it's been a year since I last updated. All of those problems they were having made me hold off.Mad

Although I don't use CCR, if it ever became a desktop non-internet program, I would link the gypsy to CCR and probably use it exclusively!

Thanks for asking.

WOW, I didn't know that you could connect the Gypsy to a Mini and cut. I just might have to get one, especially with the $25 Promo Credit. The Mini is the ONLY Cricut Machine I haven't bought.

I have a Gypsy but stopped using it altogether when I started using the CCR (September 2011 I think). Yippeee for the Gypsy linking released today - mine is running now and fingers crossed all of my cartridges will be on my CCR account soon. :)

Also to the person who just brought one new in the box, where did you get it, I have been looking and can't find one for sale

I have had my Gypsy from HSN launch and love it. It welds things easier than CCR. You can weld in CCR but I find it freezes up too much to do it in a timely manner. I also like that I can hang images off the mat and still cut. You cannot even hang images where the parts are hid by hide and contour button in CCR. I have tired it. I can take it with me when I go places easily. I totally Wub my Gypsy and I am very glad they have gave us options to get it fixed if needed and the ability to link it. I imagine I will have to send mine in for a battery replacement soon. I am glad we have that option now. Very glad. ThumpUp I see myself using both my Gypsy and CCR. It fits my busy lifestyle. I also hope they come out with a new bigger better version Gypsy since this model has been discontinued.

Me, me, me! I own a Gypsy, and use it all the time. I spend many hours in dr.s' offices, so use my gal when I am waiting for my appointment to start, or the vampires to come take my blood. I think ProvoCraft should be giving me some kind of kickback...lol.....I have been such an advertiser for this sweet little machine! It is a shame that the new people I am continuously introducing my G to cannot find anywhere to purchase one. GG

I also have 2 Gypsys, one as backup. I do not do anything at the machine itself. I do everything with the G for my Expression and use CCR for all my Imagine work. I LOVE both machines.

Yes, I have a Gypsy and I use it constantly! I won't even use my E2 unless it's with my Gypsy. I don't have a computer in my craft room (and I don't want one). I don't know what I'm going to do if my gypsy ever breaks.
