I did break down and order another HOTP kit and AG stamp pads and ink. I also had the tape dispenser in my cart, but when I went to check out, it was SOLD OUT! Sad A good thing I can't watch the shows until tonight, or it could be alot worse!

I ordered the PL today's special in Blush. I have way too many supplies to give up regular scrapbooking and I like taking my time embellishing my pages. BUT... I am still working on the baby album for my daughter and she is going to be 9. So I am going to use the PL kit to use for her more recent pictures that don't need as much journaling and such as the baby/toddler ones. Even though PL is faster I don't think I will switch to that way of scrapbooking permanently because I have too many pretty 12x12 papers and Cricut carts that I like using. What can I say? Lisa B is a good salesperson. BigGrin

This is good to know. Mixing and matching them would be good.

I guess we can discuss every other Company but S*l*o*e*t*.

If PC would of kept their word on allowing us to link our Gypsy Cartridges to CCR, I wouldn't of been forced to purchase another Company's Die Cutter. CCR is extremely unreliable, it stops cutting in the middle, freezes up, and now I can no longer even use my Gypsy with the CCR.

I ordered two Project Life sets in Blush. I LOVE traditional paper scrapbooking & I will not stop doing that. My daughter is in 4th grade & the only school pages I have scrapbooked are her first year of preschool. I am going to do Project Life for her school albums! I really feel like I can keep that up, while still enjoying traditional scrapbooking for everything else. I am very excited.

I also ordered the Zebra Xyron with 4 refills. I am excited about that. I have gotten to where I use either that or my 2 1/2" Xyron for most of my Cricut cuts. I love it! I am going on a retreat next week. I hope it is all here before I leave!

I'm wondering...did anyone order the Project Life envelope pages? Did anyone hear them talking about the refill pages? If they sent a zillion sets, I don't know why they wouldn't have had more refill pages. All the refill pages were sold out by the time I saw them. I would have bought extras of all of them, but the envelope pages really intrigue me! I don't see them on Becky Higgins website. Are they going to ever be available again? I am really hoping they will be back!

I didn't think about mixing in 12x12 pages in with the PL, that would be good for the special pictures you want to showcase or a photo you have enlarged and I could still mix in some more embellished pages.

go-go,

I didn't get refill pages for my PL ( now of course I'm kicking myself) I did however see the pocket pages on HSN this morning. I just searched "Project Life" and the re-fill pages came up.

my craft budget was tight this month but I did buy the xyron mega runner, which I am a little nervous about, I have had such bad luck with adhesive lately. I always purchased Anna Griffith scrapbook kit for my mom in law for mothers day, trying to get her to get the scrapbooking fever.. I had to turn the channel when Martha Stewarts new punches aired, oooh how I want... But I am proud to say I was pretty good..

You can buy some of the things in PL at Amazon but not as a kit the pages were $10 more. All the parts were $29.99 each. I did get a extra lot of the pages and had 2 in my cart but bought both sets and didn't think I needed anymore and sorry!. I bought the Jade with auto ship to do my sons baby and kids pic, told him way back I would make him a scrapbook and he is 35 now so he is getting this!
