trying to use a 24" mat for the forst time. I want to cut a long paper doll. It keeps saying it is too long. I have changed the setting to portrait mode. Help. Thanks in advance

Did you change the mat size to 24" on the Expression?

I did change the mat size to 24" . It didn't help. Im not sure if the arms are too wide for that length. Any ideas?

You could use the Fit to Page option and you will see the maximum size it will cut on the screen.

On the Everyday Paper Dolls? The longest you'll be able to make it, allowing for the width for the hands, is just under 17" (according to my try).

BigGrin Thank you ladies!! I have never used the 24" mat. I was afraid that I had the picture turned the wrong way. Everything turned out great!

I have a question. Where do you get the paper for the mat? I have the 24" mat but dont use it because I dont have paper that big. Thanks

Cricut.com now sell it and by all accounts it cuts beautifully...
