Does the Cricut cut felt well or at all? If so, which blade should I use?Blushing If it does cut felt, I would appreciate any tips you have to do it all better.

Felt can be tricky, stiffer felt works best for me, plus using the deep cut blade. You will need to multi-cut, I do at least 3.

I've cut felt successfully on my Cricut - my tips would be:

  • better quality felt will give better results

  • use a sharp blade (I have a blade that I only use for fabric/felt - and I NEVER cut paper with it)

  • a stabiliser is essential - I use Heat 'n Bond Ultra. I iron it on to the felt and then remove the backing before placing it (with the Heat 'n Bond side down) on my sticky mat

I don't use the deep cut blade housing (although I'm sure it would work well if you did) and multi cut twice. Here's a pic of a recent cut.
