Has anyone else ever had a problem with it not wanting to load paper. Everytime I try to load paper it just blinks red and won't do anything i'm very frustrated. Michael's won't let me return it so now I'm stuck with a machine that i haven't been able to enjoy, its so very frustrating. My impression of cricut hasn't been very good so far.
any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar issue the first (and only) time I've cut with my cricut. My machine cut fine but when I attempted to unload the mat I got the blinking red button. I turned the machine off my unplugging the power cord and the plugged it back in and restarted it. I was then able to unload the mat. Doesn't sound like that will help but I wanted to let you know you are not alone. You'd think someone from PC would be monitoring these posts and providing some help here...especially when there have been multiple posts on this topic and never a resolution!Confused

I'm going through the very same thing and I am NOT HAPPY at all! I've had nothing but problems with this machine and its not giving me a great feeling about the cricut at all. Finally getting the prior issues resolved with customer service...I started cuttinig today... got through one imagine...took an 2 hour break...came back to cut another image and now it keeps telling me to load that mat. I've tried everything. So yet in still, I am placing a call tomorrow. If Michaels would take this thing back I would have surely taken it back by now. Things should just work...especailly after 1 use Needless to say...you are not alone and it woud be nice to have someone monitor the forum and provide us with a solution... go figure. - Good night. Same problem here in Texas. Blinks red. Nothing helps.

This product should not be so hard to use.

I'm so aggravated, I'd return it if I didn't really want to be able to use it.

that's not the answer to the problem.
I'm able to turn te machine off, but am not able to load the mat, or anything, because the light keeps blinking red and green.
