I want to purchase the Mini, but I need to know two things first:
1. Will it cut craft foam?
2. What kind of fabric can it cut?

I own my own business making Barbie clothes and the Mini would save me so much time if it cut out the patterns for me. I use all sorts of fabric--knit (like t-shirts), cotton, polyester--mostly very thin fabrics. I would also like to use the Mini for cutting craft foam. Has anyone tried doing this? Was it successful?

Hi. I have the mini and I was able to cut fabric with it (regular cotton)

HERE is a video I made showing I cut fabric.

I also tried fun foam, and I had no success with it, but I have heard it could be done. I think you just need to play around with the settings to be able to cut the foam.
Hope this helps

Thanks, Stacy. I wonder if using the freezer paper on foam would work like with the fabric? Did you use the sticky foam? I wouldn't be using that, so I wonder if it would be different.

I did use the sticky back foam which may have been a bit thicker so that could be a reason it didn't cut good. I have seen others use the blue painters tape to hold the foam down on the mat, so that might be worth a shot

I looked up the Deep blade and it says it cuts up to 1.5mm. The foam I have is 2mm. I'm wondering if it would work to cut it, then turn it over, flip the image, and cut it on the other side.
