This is a glass block I made using Vinyl. I was having trouble with my glass etching cream having hard bits in it so I used glass frost. You can buy this in the spray paint section. It works great & drys quickly.

That turned out really nicely. I have a question. Did you spray the outside of the block with the frost stuff or were you able to get the spray nozzle through the opening and spray the inside? The reason I ask is that I sprayed some little votives on the outside and in time, the frost came off. I thought that if I had sprayed it on the inside, it wouldn't have come off. Thanks for sharing. I sprayed the outside and didn't have any trouble with it coming off. I used Krylon Frosted Glass Finish spray.

Thanks everyone for such kind comments!

The large vinyl fleur de lis was from Wild Card. The one on the top left is also Wild Card, the bottom left is Home Decor, and the lower right is Calligraphy Collection. Any fleur de lis you have will work. If you only have one, just make it different sizes and it will look great!

Great idea about spray! The cream gets a little messy. Congrats on making the Cricut Chirp Highlights.

Well you just answered my question about vinyl. Can you create your own designs from your own artwork?

@ronnie You can not create your own artwork. You can only use images & fonts from the cartridges you own. Design Studio or the new Cricut Craft room lets you see how things will be cut so that you can size them to fit whatever project you're working on.
