Carolyn......guess you were posting the photos while I was posting. The cards are all very nice and what a great jump you are getting on the Holidays. I liked how you used the embossing folders on the first one. I forget that I have them and they do make nice Christmas cards. I think #3 is my favorite.....Smile. I really like how you used the sketch.

Thank you Carolyn for the wonderful sketches. I have an extremely busy week ahead, so I though I would get them done right away.

Imagine was used for all three cards

First one is used for the ad challenge as well. Second and third have the things i havent used in a long time, which is the sentiment stickers.

Carolyn great sketch and so glad you are back. Missed seeing your creations.

Did not get any time today to work on my cards. I bought some MORE JetMax cubes (my poor hubby he is so
tired of putting them together) this makes 11. So today I spent most of the day moving things around and re-organizing 16+ years worth of card making stuff. Crying Huh Cursing OhMyGod Scared This is something I have been wanting to do for a very long time so it was time well spent. I am about 85% done for now.
I think BingoLady and TurtleBug will be very happy. They know what happens when I clean.

Anyways Carolyn when the new sketches came out from Card maps I picked the second one as one
that I would use in the future when I hosted.........................well you beat me to it. LOLWink BigGrin
So i have that card done already. I was too busy today to even take pictures so I hope to get to
that part tomorrow.

Sandy - Like the way you have cut up the rejoice stamp, great colours. I just love that cute little birdie, I see you got your sewing machine out.

Sunnie - Very pretty cards. Love the fun 2nd card you could almost lick the ice cream ( you can tell I am on a diet). Flower on the 3rd card is lovely.

Sorry the colours are not showing up well on my cards. The background paper on the first is pale and pearlesant.

Hello everyone! Ok, I got Sketch 3 but I was so unhappy with it that I'm not going to post it.. HAH! I'm going to try and salvage the pieces and do something with it

CarolynDeline: thanks for posting... great sketches! All your samples are so pretty... LOVE the use of different embossing on the first one and LOVE LOVE LOVE your third one... so clean and crisp

DeeScraps: thanks for the Ad colors... I'm going to see if I can find something in my stash with all the colors in it and try to make it 3 weeks in a row being lucky about that BigGrin. Gorgeous anniversary card... LOVE the ribbon / buckle thing going on there

SandyPalmer: that's pretty... LOVE the window look and that glittery frosting on the top corners... LOVE those. Cute Christmas chick... hah hah... LOVE the colors

sunnieday: awesome cards... LOVE all the colors on all of them. I can't keep my eyes off the ice cream one... YUMMY!

*NanaDonna*: good luck with the reorganization... I know how that feels, I sure do it enough times!

AcrossThePond: Wow... gorgeous cards! All of them! LOVE the colors on all of them especially how the Ad colors turned out. All the embossing, embellishments, and details are so well done... very nice job

Hi all!

I haven't had as much time to make cards lately as I usually do so I created sketch 1 from last week and showing the front and interior. I combined sketches 1 and 3 this week (LOL) and did sketch #2 in Christmas style. The boat scene depicts the Venice Italy skyline and the card was created for my daughter's honey whose niece has just recently relocated to Venice. It's showing a little blurry and I apologize AGAIN for my inept photography. Thanks for looking ladies! -Twila

Carolyn,
So great to have you back...you have been missed! Thanks for Hosting this week and I love the sketches and have them all printed out, but have not been home much the past three days, hopefully, tonight I can finally get started on them.

DeeScraps,
Thanks for the great Ad Color Challenge for this week. As soon as I saw them they screamed "GUY card!!" to me, so I guess one of the sketches will end up a guy card in the Ad Colors.

NannaDonna...oooooppssss...sorry to have stolen your sketch...great minds think alike I guess...hee hee...what a blessing you are to share your stash of goodies with your sil's...

AcrossthePond....thanks for sharing your wonderful cards with us...love the softness of the first card...the papers are so pretty...huge wow on the love card...WOW...stunning...those colors and patterns are so striking together...LOVE this card...3rd card so pretty, love the inking on the embossing, and that flower is very pretty with all the cuts in it and the layers...totally love the happily ever after...that is one of my fav. cuts from that cart...awesomme job on all
DeeScraps...wow on your anniversary card...that is sooooooo elegant and beautiful in the ad colors of course..love the buckle and all the layering

RAQ...you are so funny...Im sure your sketch 3 card is fabulous!!!

BingoLady...your be happy card is sure to cheer the recipient...so fun and colorful...thats what I love about card making, the simplest of cards can absolutely be the best ones...the love bug card is so cute...he is adorable and love all those flower centers

Twiddlebug...ha...love the hippo card, hilarious sentiment and the embossing on the hippo is wonderful...so cute...the Venice card is stunning...very nice, he will love it..great job on the christmas card...love that background paper

I have been on a card making frenzy this week...in between blueberry picking, closet cleaning, catching up with friends, closing the poolCrying ...whew...but its been great getting back to doing what I love...wanted to share my card I made last night at crop...it doesn't follow the sketches, but it does have the colors for this week (which I might add are one of my fave combos) so I've been trying out all kinds of new folds from Splitcoaststampers Youtube videos...the one in the ad colors is an Accordian Fold card...the next is a spinner card, and the last is a pop up card...all were so much fun to make, and quite easy...and lots of opportunity to use my new scor board...LOL LOL
