BingoLady: thank you for posting your awesome sketches! I'm so happy to see it when people make their own sketches. Your shaped card is so pretty. I might just try a fan too! Wonderful sorts of bright colors on all your cards and of course... awesome embossing! I really like the double ribbon on the birthday card and such a fun card with all those circles and words. Great job on all of them!

Ok, I'm not sure if it's me or if it's the MB again. I've been having trouble connecting all night so I've been saving my typing somewhere else and copying it over here... just a warning in case it's the MB

Thank you BingoLady for this week’s sketches. They are great and thanks for your samples!

Love the fan shaped card – looks dainty! Nice embossed anniversary (or wedding) card! Great 18th birthday card – again I like all the embossing! Like your last birthday card too with all the sayings!

Time to start thinking and designing!

Looking forward to seeing everyone’s spin on these great sketches!

Well, I went to cut some pieces to work on the sketches last night... AND my Cricut is not responding Sad Sad Sad

I ended up trying to figure out what was wrong with my Cricut for the rest of the night that I got absolutely no crafting done

I hate contacting support Angry Angry Angry but I suppose I don't have a choice Glare

Good morning everyone. My company is gone so I hope I can get some cards done this week. Bingo Lady, I love how you did the sketches yourself and the examples are great. You must have been reading my mind about this weeks colors!

Raquel - sorry you are having problems with your Cricut...maybe it will be something simple.
The message board is still very hit and miss for me. Most of the time I just don't log on, but at least I can see the cards. Maybe I need a new computer!

Here's this weeks colors.

Sandy Palmer - Your card is adorable. Love the little chick.

Shelbywoo - Both of your catch-up cards are nice but I especially liked the stamp on the purple. She's so cute. Your put the red card up while I was posting this.....it's beautiful.

Nana Donna - I was thinking about Spring and some bright flowers, that how I picked the colors. The little outfit was something I had bought for my granddaughter. I love the combination of the colors. Your mom's birthday card is beautiful. Are the papers from a stack?

Our wonderful local scrapbook store just went out of business. They always stocked such unique papers.Sad How do most of you obtain your supplies? I just received the set of the 12 new Copic Colors that were just released and I really like them. They are all middle number muted colors.

Hi Ladies!
I made this card last night, but was not happy with the sentiment, so I waited till today to re-do it. I like it somewhat better.

Sketch #2 Card:
Embossing - Used the "Branches" CB folder on the mustard color paper, but it doesn't show very well.
Sentiment & Triangles: "Celebrations" cartridge
Added antique gold Brads and attached all this to white BG cardstock.
TFL!!BigGrin

P.S. PLEASE don't look too close behind the sentiment...I messed it up removing the first sentiment and I wasn't about to start ALL over again!!![Angry Angry Angry

Hi Ladies!
So surprised to find this cute child's paper in my stash...it has ALL the Ad Colors (Look REAL close...they are all in thereLOL) for this week. Punched it up a bit with some bright yellow BG cardstock and bright orange and green center square.

My Sketch #1 Card

Crocodile Cuts - Animal Kingdom Cartridge
Sentiment - Rubber Ink Stamp
Holes on orange square - EK Swiss Cheese Punch
Used water color pencils for the cupcake wrapper and candle, added bling to the cupcake frosting. Some sheer orange ribbon and Brads. I moved the center square over to the left a bit...just couldn't bring myself to cover up that cute little monkey!

adorable chick in a bonnet and heart shoes! I see we used the same papers for the Ad colors! HAH HAH... great minds think alike?

SHELBYWOO: great candles and you most certainly tackled the Ad colors with all those cupcake covers! Yummy! Ok, the girl coming out of the cup is so cute, great job with the coloring. Ooooh the red card is pretty, you certainly put those Copic reds to good use

*NanaDonna*: I love that paper, the colors are so beautiful. What cartridge is the "happy birthday" from?

Dee

Most of my papers (along with other crafting supplies) are from JoAnn's and Michael's when they are on sale

Turtlebug:
ooh I like your version of sketch with the "celebrate" to top off the tip of the triangle. Love the vibrant colors and the papers from the crocodile card... how fun!

I believe that you are NOT the only one that has ever messed up on a card and did something else to "cover up" the mistake... we all do it! I didn't even noticed until you said something... then I actually had to look again Flapper

Thanks,

Using the Ad colors - completely optional... following the sketch exactly - completely optional... sharing other creations - completely optional... I think you get where I'm going with this. Flapper The sketches and colors are here for inspiration and you decide what to do with them Blushing
